How To Listen To The WWRS

You might have noticed this isn’t WWRS: The Forge anymore.  Those of you who have been around here longer will also have noticed the website (and the podcast) has returned to it’s old name: The Wyrd Ways Rock Show.

How does that effect you, the listener?  Not a whole lot, to be honest.  In fact it probably makes it easier for you to subscribe to and download shows so you don’t miss out.  It also has prompted me to add another couple of things.  One is a Patreon page.  If you want to get something played on the show and you want to get the show before anyone else and at a higher bitrate for better quality, that’s where you can do it.  You’ll get a download link that’s only available to patrons.  You’ll also get a few subscriber-only exclusives now and again: The Thrash Hour, The Power Hour and Trad Metal Meltdown.

As a preview, here’s the original Thrash Hour, which you can download for free.

I’ve also got a Patrons-only Discord server, so if you want to leave me a message, tip me off about a band you’ve heard or just shoot the proverbial, you’ll be able to do it.  Become a Patron and you’ll get the link sent through.

Incidentally, I’m also creating a Doctor Who podcast (it was going to be a Youtube video exclusive thing, but my newly built PC doesn’t have a webcam built in like my laptop did, and I’ve not really got the facilities at home to do this justice) from the perspective of a Who lifer, with reviews of books, the Big Finish audios, explanations of the deeper lore and plot points that other people commentating might have missed or not even know about and so on – but that’ll depend on whether I can afford them, of course.

OK.  Enough of the preamble.  Let’s get on with this.  All you have to do is click the links:
