Final Wyrd Ways Rock Show of 2024 – No Christmas Music, Just Metal
The last Wyrd Ways Rock Show of 2024 features all-new tracks and no holiday music. We’re spotlighting Studio Sevvven, a North London space for kinksters, sex workers, and the queer community, facing closure by the local council. They need funds to fight back legally. Why does this matter to the Metal community? Because we stand with fellow outsiders. Metal has roots in rebellion, and it’s time to push back against unjust moral crackdowns. Support the cause – let’s fight together.

Play it loud—let’s deafen the Black Dog.
This is probably the most musically diverse and non-traditional show I’ve ever done, featuring intriguing finds from Instagram Stories and Reels. As always, if I love it, I’ll play it, leading to a mix with strong representation from Australia, women, and queer artists—especially in the Alt and Metal genres.
I’m actively seeking interviews with Rock and Metal musicians or fans, particularly women, queer individuals, and those with backgrounds in sex work. Diverse perspectives make for a stronger community, especially in the face of increasing challenges from the right-wing.
Music submissions are always welcome! If you’re part of these groups—or just have great music to share—message me via the link provided.
Lastly, if you haven’t already, subscribe and rate the podcast. It helps more people discover the music and support the bands we feature. Let’s amplify these voices together!
